Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
Returned home from holiday, ready to jump in a nice warm bath.
However, water never gets above luke warm.

On further investigation the boiler appears to go through it's "normal" cycle of firing up the burner which comes on for perhaps 5-10 seconds, and then goes into an S.7 status code, for around 30 seconds, then the whole process repeats again.

I've checked the setting for temperature selection on the boiler, and also the temperature monitor on the tank and both appear to be set correctly, they have certainly not been moved. When I dial down the setting on the tank the boiler goes into S.30 which I believe to be correct as that's not calling for any heat, so I think that's working.

Boiler is a Vaillant ThermoCompact. It's an open vent system.
Pump in the boiler was replaced around 6 months ago.
Can anyone point me in the right direction or some more troubleshooting I can try.

Thanks.

Could be a stuck pump, give the pump a gentle thump when calling for heat.

Is there a way I can verify if it's the pump in the boiler that is at fault?
