hi been to said boiler today the boiler was run for 8 months then drained down 5 or 6 years ago !! i filled up ch and hw turned on power nearly all workes got 21mb at inlet 0 at outlet sparks to try and light gas valve stuck i think have never stripped one down any ideas thanks

2. As your gas safe registered(well, maybe) should be a simple fault to find

have down loaded mi but not very clear fault is saying purge gas witch is to valve and their is no fault chart to follow so if you have a clue it would help thanks

We dont give DIYers advice on gas work on this open forum.

There is a closed section for RGIs called the CC where we are pleased to help the trade.

It sounds a very simple fault for any RGi to deal with though.

hi have given g s number etc to forum but not verified yet as only done a couple of hours ago im sure your right about fault and im a muppet.Doing this to help mate out and realy pushed for time i havnt got and stress i dont need .

First thing to learn that I teach trainees is to never do work for friends/relatives except at normal charges and response times.

The only relaxation that i make myself to that rule is to sometimes do work at weekend/evening at no excess charge.
