I can't read the diagram either, however it probably does not matter as it does not have sufficent detail.

When I said "Can you draw out all the components and put the diagram online? " I meant for you to show all the valve(s), timer(s), stat(s), pump(s), boiler(s) etc. - a bit like the honeywell diagrams.

its simply

wire from timer heating on goes to number 4 terminal
wire from number 4 terminal goes to common on room stat
wire from room stat goes to 5
wire from 5 goes to heating zone valve brown
permanent live from term 1 feeds the white wires on both valves
orange wires from both valves feed the boiler and the pump (unless the boiler has pump overrun) these go in terminal 8
