Salamander shower pump

    alright guys , pump 18 months old packed up last week , salamander engineer came out as in warentee , and said the flexi hoses on the cold out and in were to much of a radius , will attatch photo , I attended earlier altered so they were streight and fitted a whole service kit , pcb check valves , sensors etc pump still not working , not an air lock as water coming out of shower , 240v to the pump but not operational , I suspect compassator , just wondering if any one has had any issues ? Cheers guys

    Capacitor if it is making a Humming or Buzzing sound.

    Double check power to pump with a meter not just a pen that lights up and check all electrical connections, then if still nothing take one end housing off so you can "Flick" an impeller whilst fooling the sensor with a magnet.

    I checked with a multi meter , I'm against the volt sticks , power at switch live , no sounds what so ever from the pump

    I want to know aswell mate , salamander was saying there not involved now my boss has gone on a media site and they r back peddling , so hopefully I will know by Tuesday what they done

    Need to check the board inputs/outputs and the the flow switches, you should be able to bypass the reed switch circuit connectors within the pump to rule them out.

    It's had new flow switches and board mate, no point in bypassing as I'm getting 240v at the pump mate , took it fully apart no restrictions or anything
