Hi, I've just built this ornamental well in the garden, using some sort of rustic looking bricks. I didn't have the mortar too wet, but now I've got this white staining of the faces of the bricks. When they're dry.

Can I get rid of this? I've heard of brick acid, will that do it?
The well is planted, so it will be wet/damp inside.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
