Salus Help Please

Hi!

we have the Salus RT501RF (TX) thermostat and the RXRT505 receiver and it’s not working. I don’t think they’re talking to each other and I’ve spent most of the day googling to try and get it sorted.

We haven’t used the heating since spring and the batteries had run out in the thermostat. I’ve replaced the batteries but no luck. I’ve tried resetting the thermostat and switching the receiver on and off several times.

Any ideas would be great please as we're freezing!!

Take out batteries leave out for at least 20 min there is a capacitor in stat that needs to discharge.
New batteries must be good quality alkaline
Not zinc carbon or rechargeable.
