I have a 20+ year old UFH system from Wirsbo (now Uponor) which uses wireless room stats. I would like to upgrade the heating controls to digital "learning" thermostats so am looking at using Heatmiser NeoAir stats and wiring modules. These are 230v and my current actuators are 24v so need to change the actuators too.
I have read a lot of positive reviews on the Salus TBH23030 self balancing actuators which I think would make a lot of difference to the initial warmup and heat distribution which has always been patchy.
My question is to installers who may have fitted these to systems with larger 20mm pipe. I believe the sensors are designed for smaller 14mm pipe. Is there sufficient "give" in the bronze clips to fit them to larger pipes? I am currently waiting for Salus to come back to me but would appreciate real life experience.
Many thanks
Fozzie
