Salus wireless thermostat change to smart thermostat

Would like the Salus programmer/thermostat replaced with a smart type.

Existing thermostat is wireless type

What advice do you require? Have you seen any of interest? There are several smart types, it depends on what you want from it.

Lets say a hive smart thermostat to control the heating remotely.

Is this simple to replace the Salus one?
