Salusrt500rft problem

Can anyone help please. I have a salus rt500rft that is possessed. The receiver turns itself on despite the thermostat not sending a signal for it to do so. The only way i can stop the signal is to increase the temp in the thermostat so the receiver thinks i need more heat. I leave it 30 seconds then reduce the heat on the thermostat. The receiver then turns off. But 20 mins later it starts again. What is going on.
The thermostat does not show a flashjng signal yet the receiver turns on (showing red and green light) and turns the boiler on.
