Hi All, I've had a good use of this oven for the last 10 years, but if it's worth it to repair, I would like to try to do this.
Oven is not turning ON or showing any signs of life - no beeps, no display, no fans.
The top grill element stopped working, a couple of weeks before the oven completely stopped working - maybe a dying heating element has killed the Main PCB?

In the past, I had to replace the SN-BF63 (https://www.espares.co.uk/cooker-ov...0&shop=samsung&path=574528&model_ref=14040047 ) Oven Noise Filter Assembly a couple of times in the life of this appliance, which has been an easy disconnect/connect job.

I had a look, this time, it might be something else, as checking for voltage with a multimeter - there is mains voltage getting past the Noise filter, up to the main board. Visually, I can't see any burned components on the board or any other components ( as when the noise filter went - it did have a black burned-out mark on it.

Where do I start with troubleshooting this? I have attached photos of the main components from the mains to the control board and display board.

The neutral connection on the board in the first pick looks like it could possibly be a dry joint. It could also be a relay on the board that has failed. But the first thing I would look for is an over heat stat that has gone open circuit. It will be high up in the oven somewhere possibly under the top cpver but not really sure. Also is that just grease around the cable tye in the last pic.

Hey JJ, thanks for your thoughts.

If the neutral was a dry joint, I would have expected it to spark, or for the voltage not to pass through the noise filter, as I can see the main voltage to the main board. The browning on the back of the oven in the last photo is grease, possibly from the fans.

- I'll try to find the overheat stat and test for open circuit - my concern is that the main display is not lighting up, so it might be something on the main PCB

- How to check if a relay on the main board has failed?

If the neutal is a dry joint your meter possibly wouldn't be enough load to make it break down where as it might in use.
Checking relays will be dufficult you would need to ascertain what the pin connections are and check they have an output. But having said that I think it would be unlikely that 2 should fail as it appears there may be one for each oven so perhaps you would be looking for something common to both. In the 5th pic of the rear of a circuit bord is there a rotary switch on the other side. Again you probably need an i/p and o/p from that if turning it off would normally switch everything off. If it just for temp. control then probably nothing to do with it.
