Firstly I would like to say hello to all you good people as I have only just come across the site and joined, I am a Computer Technician so will be contributing to that section........
Now to my problem.
I have a Samsung RS21DABB side-by-side American style fridge freezer. A few weekes ago I noticed it irregularly tripped all the sockets in my kitchen, that was after narrowing it down to the FF. Yesterday it tripped the the sockets and did so everytime I plugged it in and turned it on, instantly. I decided to strip it down and removed all panels from inside the fridge, removing each component until it stopped tripping. I finally found what was tripping it (Picture 1 and 2). When i unplug this part it stops tripping and stays on.
I just have a couple of questions.
I noticed it was soaking wet, should this part be even getting wet?
and
Is it worth ordering a replacement and attempting to fit it?
EDIT:- If I plug in the bottom 2 connectors the FF stays powered, when i plug the top connector in it cuts out instantly and trips the fuse box..
