Hello
I've got a black and decker sander but want to connect it to my vacuum cleaner. Anyone know where to but an adapter from? I'm a infrequent diy so only using for painting around the house
Shop SPARES2GO Universal Complete Power Tool Hose Adaptor Kit for Dust Extraction Vacuum Cleaners Sanders (Pack of 6, 26mm, 30mm, 32mm, 35mm, 38mm). Free delivery on eligible orders of £20 or more.
If you can't find the model specific one, get one of those universal adapters, and use a heat gun or the cooker hob to heat one end to form a rectangular socket.
You can get plastic kits that have about 5 sizes of adapter. Amazon are expensive for that so Ebay might be better (or Temu if you don't mind waiting a bit). Don't do what I did though and use a steel Henry vacuum pipe. I don't know if it was a short somewhere or if they sander vibration built up static, but I got increasingly stronger shocks the more I used it and ended up dropping it and putting on a dust mask instead
