Anyone know where I can buy lengths of combined beading and draught excluder. The brush seal is embedded in the beading so ideal for sash widows but can't find a supplier.

Edit- you will need to buy the staff bead with the carrier inbuilt, plus the draft excluder on a roll. Additionally, you will need the parting bead with the carrier.

The staff bead, you may get away with one size of excluder on a roll, but with the parting bead, you may need more than one depth of draft excluder.

If you only replace the staff bead, the upper sash will still be drafty. Ideally, you would also draft exclude the meeting rail, which means you will need to use a router to cut a channel for the carrier.

If you are going to that much trouble, you might as well use a router to fit the "easy glides" which help to centre the sashes in the box.

BTW when fitting the parting beads you need to cut them in half (so that brush pile is contact with the upper and lower sashes).
