topping the pressure up with the filling loop. would be a good start.

see if the filling loop that you tried, which will have a braded hose.attached.has a screw driver slot on one of the valves.try turning that.usually though most filling loops have a handle at each end.hence the sugestion of the slotted valve.
thanks, despite being a girl i have got some sense and had figured needed to fiddle with valves however have moved thoses at both ends, independantly and together but to no joy am guessing that maybe there is a reset switch or somthing somewhere????
close the valves
remove silver pipe
point it into a bucket and tutn on valve
do you get water out
