Hi team hope all well I will be fitting some intergas combis and just confirming what to fit on the cold side for scale prevention as I'm on the south coast, I am thinking of putting a tee and valves on he/cw so in future if it scales up I can clean boiler circuit. As I'm not 100% on the inline mesh type scale reducers any thoughts would be great thanks team

Actually the ( permanent ) magnet ones work well.

Also the electrolytic ones. They do have a limited life but don't need refilling every few months like the polyphosphate filled ones.

A customer who was bothering IG was told that ALL their boilers should be fitted with a scale reducer and they ONLY approved the electrolytic type.

That's what she told me!

Tony
