Scam mail

I seem to have got my home address, on some sort of scammers list, or at least I keep getting mail, addressed to a corrupted version of my name. How do I trace back the source of the list?

You don't.
You can't.

Just throw it in the recycling and ignore.
Any attempt at contacting them will make them further your name/address to other scammers - an active response.

Apparently a lot of people un known to them have
A bussiness registered to there address ??

They were on about this on the radio the other week

No, it's not that - addressed to me, but my name has been corrupted slightly. I've had several letters addressed to the identical corrupted name, so all obviously using the same database.
