Scantronic 9651 battery / reset issues

Hi,

Battery went overnight on Scantronic 9651. We got a replacement 12V 2.1ah and have fitted it.

BUT it now is flashing "lid tamper, reset required". 7890 is coming up as invalid.

Any advice? Pleeease! We've been up since 3.30 when it first woke us up and don't want another night of it.

Hello Sparky,
Do you know how I can deactivate a Scantronic 9651 without an expensive engineer call out? The battery is beeping but I never use this and just want to turn the whole things off. Thanks!!
