Hi, got myself an outhouse that has just had a screeded floor laid.

Just want to know what's peoples opinions on what's best to do with it.

I know you can get
http://www.wickes.co.uk/Hardwearing-Concrete-Floor-Sealer/invt/214270
concrete sealer to finish it off

Just wondered what other options there are.

I want what ever i put down to be the top layer ( no tiles etc to go on top)
so the nicer the finish the better.

any ideas?

Thanks

Is quite hardwearing, the floor needs to be clean, hoovered and sealed before applying 2 coats. Will last for years. It won't chip unless you chip at iot, and why would you do that?

Be warned a sand and cement semi dry screed is not a wearing course. Over a period of time the top will scuff up and any sandy areas will break out.
The only wearing course screeds are grano or resin bonded.
oldun.

the floor looks pretty solid. it was put down with granite chippings and fibres in.
To be honest i'm not too bothered about changing the colour really.
I just want to seal/protect it.
hence the wickes link above..
I just wondered if there was some other options i hadn't really explored.

Thanks for all the replies
