Screen Brightness.

Hello All,

I have a 3 yr old Samsung r50 laptop, only used for personal light use. I know this sounds daft, but the display seems to be 'dark or greyish'. I tried to open paint, to see if the white was 'whiter' if you know what I mean , but it was the same shade.
I have my brightness turned up. Could anybody advise on anything else I can try please ????

If you have turned the brightness up, then I would suspect the screen is failing (NSS).

Is this when its running on battery, mains or both?
