screw driver bits

Hey what number screwdriver bits are best for 10mm screws? Is it pz2 or pz3 also are the ph2 ones better for most screws? Thanks if anyone can explain.

While people in the building forum probably could answer this question, you might have more luck in the carpentry forum :)
 
do you mean 10mm diamter screws? If so they will take a big bit, at least a Pozi-3 probably a pozi-4.

Almost no common screws in the uk take phillips bits only drywall screws so invest in a set of pozi's if that's why your asking.
 
If you buy decent quality screws (box full) they will come with a screw driver bit in the box.

I am a bit confused over 10mm screws. If they are 10mm diameter you will likely need a spanner. If they are 10mm long then a PZ1 will fit. Aa a general rule no. 4 screws need PZ1, no 6 to no 10 need PZ2 and no 12 upwards nneed PZ3 or may be hex head.
