Trying to replace an old DIY work top. Problem is the flat head screws at the back, screwed into the underside of the old worktop are sunk into the frame by 1cm and jambed. I cannot get any leverage as I am working upside down with no room to see what I am doing as the width is restricted to less than 40cm between two supports. I have got a couple out just by feeling for the slot and stretching underneath but I can only put very limited pressure on the screw and WD 40 will only drip off and no room to swing a hammer to loose it.
I am screwed as they say.
