Scribing into a corner

Just a quick thought. When scribing for a fit into a corner .. is scribing at 45deg the best way to achieve a fit in both planes or are there other methods?

I was thnking of a wall panel where you're not using fillers.. but i suppose the same principle would apply with a worktop

Usually a slight undercut when scribing, but I guess it depends in the specific case.
