I bought a P shaped shower bath and screen on ebay (new) - my first mistake. The seal that came with it was too short and barely touched the bath. In short the company I bought it from promised a bigger seal but did not deliver.

I bought the only deeper seal I could find on the internet which was recommeded for a curved screen but when on and curved, the top fin goes flat and the bottom fin ripples and does not form a good seal. But the worst bit is at the hinge side where the seal meets the pivotting part of the screen, this is where most of the water seems to come through resulting in a wet floor. The big problem is this is in rented propery and the tenants dont take care with it so the floor boards are black under the lino with being contantly wet.

My sons friend has a similar screen in his rented flat and it has a small plastic part that fits into the hinge bit of the screen that curves round to deflect the water back towards the bath. Does anyone know if I can buy one of these somewhere, or do you have any other suggestions to solve this problem at the hinge. The depth of the gap at the bottom is 15mm what would be the best depth of seal for this and do you know where I could get a good quality seal as the ones I get seem to go hard and loose their rubberyness very quickly. I wondered if I could stick one of these thick white seals onto the bath behind the screen, this would of course stop the screen being able to move out the way but it would be worth it if it stopped the leak, but I dont know how to stick it to the bath or if it would work. Any suggestions gratefully received.
