If the bath flexes it must obviously be a plastic one. Are ceramic tiles really the best thing in this case? I have been in a Diy Store today, and there was a good range of plastic mouldings for the purpose, I noticed one of them was imitation quadrant tiles. The plastic moulding will flex like the bath.
Stretch under the bath and you should be able to insert 2 or 3 supporting verticals. 2 x 1" will do. Make them a tad long so you can tap the bottom sideways to get the height right.
