Hi, I am wanting to fit new Solar control glass onto my lean- to oak conservatory. Have been advised to use Capex 50 rails screwed into the rafters. Can anybody tell me if this is a good system. There is lead flashing along the top where the current polycarbonate meets the stone wall. Are these capex rails suitable for use with lead. Is it simply dressed around each rail. And what about wind blown rain being forced up under the lead, over the top of the glass sheets and into the room, how to make sure this never happens? Should I fill the gap at the top of each DGU and the wall with something like silfix U9. Or how about some glazers tape between the lead and the glass?

Many thanks, Mike
