Hi Chaps,

We've re-positioned the 40mm drain for a washing machine during a kitchen re-fit. I'd like to know the recommended method for sealing up the redundant hole through the external solid wall (no cavity). I can think of various things - some more bodge-worthy than others! The wall is a bit exposed, and subject to driving rain occassionally.

Cheers,
David

If it is a brick wall, see if you can find a matching brick or two and replace.
If rendered, just fill it with mortar, try to copy the finish and once dry, paint.
