How long does it take for the search to re-index? I ask because I have just removed a few posts of my own from the forum, but they still show up on a forum search. In fact I removed a few yesterday but even they still return search results.

Usually edited posts should be re-indexed within minutes. Removed posts similarly. Indexing was an ongoing process rather than re-indexing en mass. However, the indexing process as you may have noticed is not working as expected. This was what was being worked on before I went away and what is my current priority. So once correct indexing begins it should be ok once more. I'll keep you posted once things start to return to normal.
