I have some plain metal shades for walls lights that fasten to the wall.

Anyone got any ideas where can I get some simple light fittings that I can fasten to the wall. They need to be quite slim to fit behind the shades and have right angle brackets so that the bulb goes verticle.

What does the manufacter instruction recommend ?

Presumably batten holders would be too big, even with candle bulbs?

What about an SBC one?

Some of the compact fluourescent fittings might screw direct to the wall, but with the others you'd have to buy a bracket, or use a small piece of wood.

Thanks for the pictures.

I've got a batten holder from B&Q which turns through 45 degrees but the candle bulb still sticks out too far.

There comes a point where you have to ask yourself "is it really worth all the effort?"

(Remember kid programme called Vision On in the picture gallery)

don't know what the music was called, but they did use it for a car ad, about a year ago. i remeber the bloke on a train station holding a card which read "at week ends my name is mandy"

also do you remember the "proffessor, and the burbles"
