Hi guys
I have a (Wickes) external security light with built in PIR at the front of the house.
When I bought it the guy in the store told me that I could hook up a second light from it as well (to light the side of the house).
However, there's nothing to this effect in the fitting instructions although the PIR does have both 'L1' and 'L2' terminals.
Currently I've used the L1 terminal.

Qu : do you think that the L2 terminal is the outgoing 'live' and if I use this with the shared Earth and Neutral then I'll be able to wire in the second (100w) light as required ?
Many thanks

You should be able to see which of the two L's goes to the lamps. That is the one to parallel from for the second light.
Personally I wouldn't trust the electrical knowledge of a DIY store employee so you should check in the instructions the rating of any second load (if any)that can be added to the light.
