Hi all.
Im building a porch which is basically a lean to type veranda thing.
Ive built the basic frame and attached a 6x2 to the wall and then cut a rafter down onto the frame at around 40' pitch. at the bottom I've cut in with a birds mouth.
At the top I've basically cut the rafter at the required handle and offered it up to the timber. I was going to run timber lock screw though the top into the plate but was wondering if there was a better way.
I don't have the height from windows above to lower the wall plate and birds month at the top before you ask!
Thanks
BB
