Security floodlight with extra PIR inputs?

I recently purchased a 500w security floodlight for the rear of my house. I was sure the last time I purchased and fitted one of these it had an extra input if an extra PIR was required.

I am wanting to mount the light in the centre of the house but have an additional PIR pointing down the side of the house.

Can you still get these type of floodlights?

but whay a 500w flood light, have you a football pitch?

why noit do the good thing and diy?

have separte lights and pirs that way you can do what you like

lol...no football pitch. Garden measures approx 35 ft x 35 ft.

Is a 500w overkill?

Just wanted an additional PIR so if we or anyone else walked up the side of the house into the rear garden it would activate the light.

its only my opinion, but 500w flood lights are a waste of space

you put them too low, and it blinds everyone

you put them too high and it lights the neighbours gardens too.

which is why i suggest diy.

several small lights and as many pirs as you like

or do as i am doing, white led lights (again diy) i am having them light the garden clicky
