I have a security light with a PIR. It is also on an indoor switch which seems to override the PIR process so the light stays on permanently.
Please could anyone advise if the PIR light can be replaced with a standard outdoor light fitting as I don't want it to be a security light?

Thanks

Yes. If the wire to the light is 3 core and earth then you will use the switched line, neutral and earth and put the permanent line into a seperate connector. If it is just twin and earth then just wire it up.

Please remember safe isolation.
