hi have this valve on gas central heating and it is only working on the hot water. i have manually put the lever in the middle which has got the rads working care of this forum (thanks a million). I think that the top slides off it, is it an easy job to swop over, or should i get a heating engineer out, and is the temp fix ok to after the weekend. as you may be able to tell from the above questions i have very little experience of heating systems. all help would be welcome cheers dim

Yes it is easy.

Make sure you remove all power to system. Just turning HW and CH off still leaves one of the wires to the actuator head live 'grey'
