self levelling bumpy concrete floor

i need to level a uneven floor, can i fill some deeper areas first then relevel whole floor with 2nd coat as my self leveller says suitable for upto 6mm. thanks

Yes. I have done that. Depends on depth of bumps as you can catch all of it in one go sometimes.
Pouring over a sealed floor works best and spread with nothched trowel. That's how I've always applied.
