Nobody is convicted without due process. That is the difference. The verdict may be wrong, but the correct process has been followed.
Surely you must agree that getting a wrong verdict after the correct process has been followed means that the due process isn’t worth a cup of cold pìss?

It depends on the failure rate. No process can ever be perfect.

No

The % of innocent people that end in jail is very low.

What is the % of people deported wrongly then?

Nobody knows and that's not really the point. The USA has different legal procedures for deporting different classes of immigrants. All due process means is that the Trump team actually follow these procedures. Courts, including the Supreme Court, have been ruling that they haven't been doing that. There is no equivalent of the ECHR in the USA. Many will have very few rights and won't be entitled to a full trial. But most are entitled to at least a brief hearing with a judge to make sure the basics are correct. The real point is that, in democracies, individuals have the right to expect the government to follow the legal rules.
