I recently aquired a coalbrookdale severn stove, it is the boiler model.
What i want to do is use the stove without the back boiler. Is there anybody that has done a conversion on the coalbrookdale stove.
Is it possible to convert from boiler to non boiler.Any info would be appreciated.

Dont know this solid fuel fire but I run my Rayburn without the back boiler connected (split a while ago).
I disconnected the water inlet and outlet pipes from the range and still use it for heating and cooking.

As long as the water inlet and outlet are not connected and are free to vent it is ok.

One thing I have found out though is that without the cooling effect of the water running through the back boiler my rayburn burns hotter than it used to.

The hot plate and oven took a little getting used to with the increase in average temp.
