Sharp R-8R50T

Got a Sharp Rotisserie Microwave from 1990.

It has two separate faults - the turntable is intermittent and it no longer heats. Pretty major, really!!

Does anyone have any opinions as to whether it is worth fixing or shall I get shot?

Get shot, had to replace my well expensive stainless steel combi pansonic due to a defunct di-lithium crystal, or whatever they are really called.

Since I posted, I looked at Amazon's website & read some opinions of other Sharp purchasers, including one who had an oven almost identical to mine and was very impressed (as am I). But her new Sharp oven kept breaking down & is proving to be the opposite of her old one.

If you were in the market for a new microwave, what brand.model would you buy?

I've heard Bosch are good. Indeed, our Bosch D/W is fantastic, never given us an ounce (sorry, 28.33333333333333333333g) of trouble.
