How high would you install a shaver socket above the vanity unit worktop on the right?

High enough not to get splashed or knocked; low enough to reach. It is useful if it is close to a shelf where you can put things to be charged. Preferably where anything that is plugged into it cannot fall into the basin.

At least 600mm horizontally from the footprint of a bath or shower tray and the space above it.

If you intend to live long enough to need a wheelchair, or are planning to be injured in an accident, 1200mm max above the floor.

Try not to put a shelf or cabinet above the washbasin, because women like to put heavy glass bottles and jars on them, and the basin will be cracked when they fall into it. After this has happened the first time, you will take it more seriously. Put a large, plain mirror there. You will need lighting for when you are putting your eyelashes on or squeezing your pimples.
