shaver socket

I have a shaver socket above my basin and would like to move it to a higher place can anyone see any problems in this as i want to put a mirror there instead. Also can i use the shaver socket to charge my electric toothbrush or is it just for shavers? If it is just for shavers then i will not want to use it, so am i allowed to pull the wire through from the loft and attach it back to the shaver socket and leave the whole thing safely in my loft or is this not a good idea?
