Market socialism of the Chinese variety has shown to be a huge success in improving the quality of life for millions of Chinese.
Western style Capitalism is very good at generating wealth but there is nothing in the rules that says that, the wealth generated has to be shared fairly.
That is why you need a socialist government to make sure that those who benefit most from Capitalism share their wealth fairly.
