We have an Ideal Isar combi boiler which was installed into our house when it was built over 4 years ago which also runs our underfloor heating.
We have had nothing but trouble with the temperature fluctuation in the shower and the taps in the house.
We have had the boiler company 'Ideal' out that many times since the boiler was installed and it works ok for about 6 months and then the water fluctuates again.
It is about every 6 months since the house was built we have to call them out to look at the boiler.
We have been informed by Ideal when the boiler was fitted that there is debris in there which is causing the problem. This has not been noticed by them before considering they have been looking after it for the last 4 years.
Is there anyone out there who might know what it is as we feel we are being fobbed off!

what parts have been changed or have you been advised are faulty?
tbh it does sound like the plate he is getting blocked up periodically, which would be caused by system debris, in which case no insurance policy in the world will cover it. You will need to get it flushed and it would be advisable to get a filter of some kind fitted such as fernox TF1, spirotech dirt seperator/magnabooster or a magnaclean.
