Hello

I'm looking to change our grotty old shower enclosure over the Christmas period. I've been lucky enough to never have to had to buy one before and consequently have no idea what makes a good one.

What should I be looking for? I've seen thicknesses from 4mm up, self cleaning glass etc. Is it worth paying for a brand or are no name ones ok.
Really just after the Ford Mondeo of shower enclosures, ideally at Ford focus prices.

Any advice relating to trays would be handy too. They all appear similar but there's nothing worse than a flexy one.

Thanks

Definitely a resin stone cast tray, sitting on the floor with no legs if you can....just make sure you can access the drain nicely.
As for the enclosure, skimp ye not and consider Moretti or Swirl with 6mm glass.
John :)
