Shower extractor fan and light

Hi, I have fitted a new extractor fan with intergrated halogen lamp like this

I have got the fan working fine but the lamp will not work, i thought that it had blown so i replaced the halogen bulb but no joy. Could anybody give me any diagrams for halogen transformers for wiring.

You need to connect the 240v side of the transformer in parallel to the connections you made for the switched live and neutral for the fan, but on the input side of the fan isolator. Then the 12v leads go to the lamp.

If that's too difficult, you can take the switched live and neutral straight from the fan terminals (or by using a junction box if necessary) to the transformer. This would mean that when you turn off the fan isolator for whatever reason, you will also lose the light.

Alternatively, run a new cable from another light in the room.
