Shower has started 'stalling'

Hi,
we have a shower that is fed from a salamander pump. This morning it started 'stalling', it was like the pump kept stopping then starting. There seemed to be enough water in the cold fill tank.

the pump is a Salamander CT50+

has anyone experienced this before and if so what was the issue/fix?

fixed , it was a back pressure issue. the shower head had some debris in it
