Shower head height

I have a worcester 34cdi combi which is located in the kitchen and the shower is directly up on the first floor. This may sound reasonable but the piping actually runs upto the attic then come down to the floor of the bathroom where it then connects to the shower mixer.

I used to have a water cylinder in the attic and the because the pipework was difficult to alter due to tiled floor, the plumber rerouted the hotwater pipe like I just explained.

Can someone advise on what is the recommended height for a shower head from a combi boiler?

Would a setup like this reduce the pressure at the shower head?

Should I try to have the double run removed which would actually mean breaking the kitchen sealing to get to pipework?

It is a combi boiler, giving hot water at mains pressure, almost.
Your pipework configuration should not be detrimental to the performance of the shower, other than the time it takes for hot water to arrive at the showerhead (probably measureable in milliseconds . )

As above wouldn't have thought it would make a lot of difference as the water is delivered at mains pressure.
