hi, my concealed show has the single outlet with an elbow going in to what looks like PPR pipework
its not leaked in the 15years since built but i have renovated and purchased the outlet cover it should have had on originally.

however the elbow is too far out to fit it and need some advice on what to do

it does not want to unscrew, the PPR pipe isn't well secured and the silicone is kinda keeping it solid although the hole is tight so it wouldn't move much
looks bad practice to screw direct in the the pipe end?

PPR - reinforced PolpyP? That fitting certainly doesn't look like plastic though can't see what's in the wall. It is a bit of a strange looking fitting, probably bespoke to the shower kit. It looks like it's a male elbow into a female fitting in the wall as you can see PTFE tape in there. The shape of the elbow though suggests that it could be a female too into a male connnector. All that's moot though as if it's loose in the wall and you can't remove it then not a lot you can do.

Only way really would be to cut a section of tile out so you can get a tool onto it then use a plate to cover the excavation.
