Hi can anyone help my bristan bliss shower trip's the main breaker as soon as I switch it from cold to hot any help please

Which breaker exactly? Can you take photos

It's a modern consumer unit split into to half's its not tripping the one marked shower but the main one at the end
The shower runs till I switch it to hot

Brilliant.

Which of the listed devices is tripping?

 The consumer unit is the box on the wall. It has a whole load of things (trip switches) in it.
There are different types that do different things.
Which of these separate things is the one that trips? What is written on it?

The one that's on the end which I have been told is the upstairs main breaker the one marked shower isn't tripping on its own it's tripping all the upstairs

Sorry. Upstairs main breaker is not enough to identify it. From my picture above, surely you can match which on it is...…!
Ok, let us try and make it even easier
Is it a double or single width module?
Does it have a button on it marked test.
Does it have 30mA or 0.03A written on it?

Ah. Ok. It sounds like the heating element in the shower has failed.
Possibly will need a new heat exchanger, or replace the whole shower.
