Shower pump

Need a proper look of the back side of that pump, it's a bit dark in the pic. It almost looks like they have looped a single supply pipe and re-circulated it from one side of the pump, through the other and then up to the shower??

The Grundfos Danube pumps have the same configuration as the one you have just now and are extra low voltage but we really need to see how they have piped your current one up. Can you get a light in there and take a new pic with the right hand side of the pump in view as well?

Looks like a bodge and only pumping either the hot or cold. Perhaps cold is off the mains and the pump is for the hot? Hard to tell without further investigation.

Personally I would spend a tenner and invest in a multimeter

I'm just concerned that you might spend £150 on a new pump only to find it's the power supply that's faulty or the fuse has blown in the RCD

Having a multimeter in your toolbag is no bad thing either
