My shower riser Rail slider is not longer strong enough to hold the shower head.
I can buy a replacement slider but can't work out how to take the existing riser of the wall.

Would ideally like to but a full new riser rail and fittings but they all seem to be too short for my current wall holes which are 670mm hole to hole.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Do you know what brand the existing rail is?

The best I can see so far is at Screwfix. But it is 645mm long.

In your first picture, there looks like a screw (?)

Is it a screw?

I suspect that if you loosen these off, both top and bottom, the rail will come away.

Looks like the same crappy riser that I have.

The front of the fittings that screws to the wall can be flipped off with a screwdriver/penknife.
Behind it you should find a cross head screw that is screwed into the wall, undo it.

Slide it and the riser off, slide the new one on.
Reassemble.
