Replacing a basin that was put in as a rush job but space is very limited. Needs to be as big a bowl as possible as it's the only bathroom so more than just a cloakroom hand-rinse (toilet is in a separate room), and as 'splashproof' as possible as it's a rental.
Options:
* same location, wider rectangular basin with right-end tap (hard to find anything which makes use of the width available without being too deep)
* corner unit (not sure if an oval bowl will end up smaller than the above option)
* rectangular basin under window (biggest space but awkward standing by the door/have to shut the door to use it, and much harder to reach the window to open it)
Attached pictures of the space and existing plumbing (the boxed-in pipes run to the shower on the right). Minimal disruption desired! Current basin is 400x330 max.
Thanks for any thoughts.
